Lassie Come Home (1943)
Once deprived of their family is forced to sell it, collie named Lassie (Pal) escapes from its new owner, and a long journey from Scotland starts after her Yorkshire home.
Fred M. Wilcox satisfied me with his previous movies, but Lassie Come Home (1943) is much better. Most movies, even the greatest ones, evaporate like mist once you've returned to the real world; they leave memories behind, but their reality fades free quickly. But not with this one :). Production also looks good from the music side. It's just a magical trip to some of the happiest moments of my childhood.
